All of us have emotional burdens that are invisible to the outside world but painful to us. They weigh us down and prevent us from living a life filled with joy and excitement. Even though shining light on them can help gain insights into the root of personal distress, we hesitate to do so, as it might be scary and shameful. Indeed, it is a risky adventure to open up to a total stranger.
I ensure you a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere, which will contain your disturbing feelings and flashbacks, painful memories and traumas. Together we will work through distressing experiences that are burdening and tormenting you.

This journey towards self-awareness and healing will help you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, shed light on the source of your struggles as well as to release you from the burden of the past. Our exploration of your inhibiting beliefs and behavioural patterns will offer you a better understanding of your inner world.
I hold a Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling from The Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling, therefore, the psychodynamic approach stays at the heart of my practice. I'm also constantly expanding my knowledge about other psychotherapeutic methods, e.g., TA, psychosexual and existential psychotherapy, and implementing them in my practice once appropriate. I also use CBT techniques, according to the client’s needs, for more short-term counselling.
Counselling, in the short-term work, aims to solve a specific issue you are experiencing. Agreeing to see each other once a week for a limited amount of sessions (usually 12-20), we will explore the situation you feel troubled by from different perspectives. I am not in a position to give you advice as no one knows how to live your life best other than yourself. You will be provided with a warm and non-judgemental environment allowing you to express your thoughts aloud and find the right answers. I will also help you learn new skills to be more equipped in dealing with your issues.
Psychotherapy is conducted one to four times per week for a non-predetermined period. It will be a deeper and more thorough work in understanding your inner world and the way you relate to the outside world. By speaking your mind with as few restrictions as possible, you will become engaged with parts of yourself that are worrisome, and you tried to ignore. We will work together through this challenging experience, gradually releasing yourself from the grip of old affirmations and repetitive patterns to find your path towards personal transformation.
My clinical work is aligned with the BACP ethical framework and principles.
My private practice is relatively small, with no more than 14 contact hours per week, to ensure that the quality of my work is of the highest standard.

First, you will have an initial appointment with me before you commit yourself to a counselling journey. If you are unsure whether counselling is right for you or not, the initial appointment will help you find the answer. If you have an idea that you would like to explore, have some expectations from counselling, or have had counselling before and would like to work on a particular problem, the initial appointment is a great opportunity to talk it over.
Please note you will NOT be diagnosed during the initial assessment.
The fee for the initial appointment is £70 (80 € or $95 ) as each further session. Please note, 50% is required to be paid in advance, the remaining amount will be invoiced after the session.
The first, as well as every other session, are 50 minutes long. You don’t have to keep an eye on the time, I will let you know when we approach the end of the session.
There is no obligation to commit after the initial appointment.
If you decide on trying to work with me, the first 5-10 sessions would be our test-drive. If you feel you want to see other therapists and compare who you feel more comfortable with, please do not hesitate to do so. It is more likely that you will open up about delicate and intimate matters to the person you feel most connected to and it might take some time before finding a good fit.

My supervision practice is aligned with BACP principles and involves coherence, responsibility and integrity. I lean on the Seven Eyed Supervision model to provide a complex and diverse experience for practising therapists to foster their professional development in a warm and supportive environment. The psychodynamic approach stays at the core of my work; however, I am also eagerly supplementing it with techniques from other approaches, such as CBT, TA and existential psychotherapy. I am also sharing my own clinical cases, which are relevant to the presented material.
I provide a warm and supportive environment for you to feel comfortable to explore your clinical practice and its influence on you. I will help you to see links and make connections in order to shed light on your clients' internal processes as well as to unblock your inner conflicts. I will help you to recognise and explore different forms of counter-transference, triggered experiences from the past and possible parallel processes. These explorations would be supplemented by relevant theories and techniques from other modalities.
The fee for an individual supervision session of 60 minutes is £60, for 90 minutes - £90.
This group will be a safe space for you to reflect on your practice and get a diverse perspectives on your clinical cases. You will be able to learn about different modalities, psychotherapeutic styles and techniques not only from me but also from your peers. Supervision group consists of three therapists and myself. Each group supervision session is 90 minutes long that means each therapist has at least 25 minutes of presenting and discussing time for their clinical cases.
The fee for a group supervision session is £30 per person.
