I was privileged to work with people with different nationalities, beliefs and mentality, who were seeking solutions to their mental distress. Whether they were struggling with family, work problems, psychological trauma, loneliness, anxiety, anger, or sadness without any obvious reason, - psychotherapy was having a positive impact on their lives.

Whether they were struggling with family, work problems, psychological trauma, loneliness, anxiety, anger, or sadness without any obvious reason, - psychotherapy was having a positive impact on their lives.

Unfortunately, not every client in the charity organisation I’m working at can afford long-term counselling. Since their budget can mostly afford only 12 sessions, I was encouraged to build our work in such a way that personal transformation would take place in a short period of time, yet the effect would also be long-lasting. Thus, with time, I developed a method which integrates the two currently most common and effective approaches: cognitive-behavioural therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

How does it work?

Integrating psychotherapy approaches and choosing the most suitable techniques for you, I adapt them to your needs. I’m not in a position to give you advice as you are the only one who knows how to live your life. Talking as freely as possible about your experiences, exploring your inner world and doing exercises which improve your self-awareness, you will be able to find right solutions for yourself.

Cognitive-behavioural therapy

Applying CBT techniques, we will look into your negative thinking and explore in which way it has an impact on your behaviour. You will understand how this behaviour was formed and learn new skills to be able to trace your negative thoughts and change your behaviour. To consolidate the new information, you will receive in your email exercises that are personalized to you.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy

Moreover, using psychodynamic approach, we will explore your family dynamic, identify and work on affirmations and patterns which were formed during all these years. You will understand what role they played and how they helped you on the previous stages of your life. Recognising and working through it, gradually you will be able to free yourself from the burden of old beliefs and relational models that do not work anymore.

What can you expect from counselling?

  • You will learn to trace your negative thoughts and reactions in different situations. With time, you will be able to change both your attitude to the situation and your behaviour in them
  • You will be able to explore the patterns in your relationships and their impact on the dynamic of the current relationships and formation of new relationships;
  • You will work on traumatic events from your past, which still have a negative influence on you;
  • You will be aware of your emotions and will recognise what you are felling at any particular moment. You will also learn to express your feelings in a mature way;
  • You will be able to understand your own psychological mechanisms and the psychology of other people, which will help you to improve current relationships and build new fulfilling ones.

Counselling is aimed to change your perception of the external world and the dynamic of your inner world. It takes time and gentle care for the planted seeds of awareness to germinate. Even if we won’t be able to weed out all negative thoughts and grow seedlings, you will learn basic skills to promote your personal development. With time, you will be able to enjoy the fruits of your hard work and share the happiness of your success with your loved ones.

How much does it cost

The initial online consultation costs £25 or €30 and lasts 25 minutes, and can be booked using the form. It should be paid by bank transfer after an initial online consultation.

The fee for each further online counselling session is £45 or €50 and should be paid via bank transfer after each session.

What is required from you?

  • Your commitment and firm intent to work hard towards your personal transformation
  • Attendance of individual consultations (50 minutes) once per week at the agreed time
  • Completing prepared tasks for you on daily basis
  • Recording your thoughts, feelings, experiences and dreams
  • To be ready for action!
